i have a good accessible mp3 player that doesnt hold movies though. it is a 1 gb model made by philips. all u do is cut the files that u want to put in it, navigate to my computer, arrow down to philips drive, click on it, click on portable storage, then click on music and paste the files into that folder. really quite straight forward and simple to use. no software required to use that mp3 player. if u would like the model number, i will be glad to get it for u. it only costs $45 at walmart.

Hey everyone. I've been reading a lot about the ZenStone Mp3 player and how accessible it is for blind users. I've done some research and noticed that there is a model which comes with an Fm tuner. This is great cause I like to listen to different radio stations while traveling. I was wondering if there is another way to recharge the battery besides using the Usb port on your computer. I won't always have my computer with me. Does the Philips model listed above come with an fm tuner, and can it play protected music files like what you'd find at walmart.com? Any information would be apreciated, as I'm searching for just such an mp3 player. Thanks.

You can always buy an external USB hub that ispowered. Another option is you can purchase an ac adapter that has a usb port on it. You just plug one end of the cable that you would normally use to connect the mp3 player to the pc into the mp3 player, and the other end intothe adapter or hub, whichever you choose. I have a powered usb hub I take with me, but its more stuff to keep track of, so I'm considering going the route of buying the ac adapter with the usb port on it.

Good luck.

Hi, all. I have a Zen Stone, and it is extremely accessible. It's only about 40 dollars, from any retail store. The only downside to it is that it holds one gig worth of files, where most MP3 players hold more. But I don't need it to hold more than a gig, so for me it's perfect.
